SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL (Mental Health)
How many times has your child stomped their feet, clenched their fists, while declaring, "You're not the boss of me!"? Hitting, shouting, biting, hiding, or even running away can all be signs of heightened stress. Stress, along with anxiety, depression, to name only a few, do not discriminate by age. They can present themselves in wee ones and on up to the elderly. The good news is that there are ways to manage or overcome stress.
If your child is facing emotional difficulties that are hindering their ability to enjoy life, please make an appointment to see your family doctor, if your child is school age, connect with your school counsellor, or email Carol L Perry Counselling Services to set up an appointment.
