Welcome to Carol L Perry Counselling Services
Better is Possible
My name is Carol Perry. Welcome to my website.
Counselling/psychotherapy can address issues you may be experiencing that have become a growing challenge in your life.
I have experience working with children, youth, and adults using a variety of therapeutic methods, including, but not limited to:
Satir Family Systems, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. With the client as the centre, we work together to uncover what approach fits best in each individual situation.
Building upon a 36 year career as an educator I have insights in navigating BC's school system with children who may be experiencing challenges. My most recent work is in the area of self-regulation and I hold certification as a "Shanker Self-Reg Learning Facilitator", Self-reg Mentor, and a Certification in Shanker Self-Reg™.
My work with families builds upon prior experience while looking through an attachment lens.
Beginning with the principle that "All Behaviour Has Meaning" we work together to develop and build a
toolkit of positive practices.
At times we are faced with serious problems such as depression, anxiety, stress, difficulty coping with
life, trauma, grief and loss, or a prevailing sense of discontent. It has been my privilege to work along side
clients as they work through these challenges. My belief is that there is always hope.
Through a strength-based approach, we work together to build on YOUR strengths.
I have a firm belief that Better is Possible!
Warm regards,
Carol
